PROGRAMS & INITIATIVES
Young people need more than advice — they need support they can feel and tools they can use.
At Your Mind Your Money, our programs and initiatives meet youth exactly where they are, whether they’re ready to build financial confidence or simply trying to make it through the week. From money and mindset workshops to food boxes and college prep support, we provide both stability and opportunity.
Workshops & Conversations
We offer supportive, youth-focused workshops that address both mental health and financial confidence in a way that’s easy to understand and judgment-free.
Our goal is to help young people:
-
Build self-awareness and healthy coping skills
-
Talk openly about stress, anxiety, and real-life pressures
-
Understand how emotions and money decisions are connected
-
Develop responsible habits they can carry into adulthood
Whether a young person is struggling or simply needs guidance, our programs create a safe space for them to learn, express themselves, and feel supported — emotionally, socially, and financially.
🖤 Kennedi Kares
Kennedi Kares is the survival-based support initiative of Your Mind Your Money.
While our core programs focus on financial education and mental wellness, Kennedi Kares steps in to meet immediate needs — because healing and growth are impossible when basic necessities are out of reach.
Through monthly food boxes, hygiene kits, clothing drives, back-to-school support, and milestone assistance like prom, homecoming, or moving into college, we make sure young people are not just taught — but taken care of.
When needed, we also provide college prep support including FAFSA help, mock interviews, resume building, and career readiness tools — helping youth cross the bridge from surviving to thriving.
Community Partnerships
Your Mind Your Money believes lasting change happens when the whole community works together. That’s why we proudly partner with schools, nonprofits, faith-based organizations, recreation centers, and youth programs to bring mental health and financial wellness directly to the spaces where young people already are.
Whether it’s hosting workshops on-site, supplying Kennedi Kares survival kits, or collaborating on college and career readiness events — we customize our support to fit the needs of each organization we serve.

-
Budget templates and spending reflection worksheets

Emotional regulation tools and coping exercises

Goal-setting trackers (financial, academic, or personal)
-
FAFSA guides, resume templates, and interview prep sheets

Every resource is designed to be easy to understand, youth-friendly, and nonjudgmental, so young people actually want to use them—not just toss them aside.
